Johan Potgieter, our esteemed Managing Director, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Aequitas Security Solutions.
With a deep-rooted passion for firearms, Johan has actively owned and studied them for over 25 years.
His journey began in 1995 when his exceptional skills caught the attention of professionals in the industry. Johan served in the law enforcement sector, where he underwent rigorous training and became a member of an elite team within the South African Police Service.
During his service in law enforcement, Johan’s outstanding abilities earned him awards such as the Best Marksman and Top Student in SWAT training.
He excelled in armed escorting, high-risk response services, and the tracking and recovery of stolen vehicles, gaining invaluable experience along the way.
Johan’s extensive fieldwork experience has provided him with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals in various situations. Committed to professional growth, Johan has also acquired qualifications as a Close Quarters Combat (CQC), Tactical Firearms, and Krav Maga Instructor.
